Lalaconká
Karol Conka is one of the most prominent female rappers in Brazil today. We were invited by Camila Cornelsen to be part of the all-female team behind her bold and vibrant videoclip Lalá. For the project, we created a custom typeface inspired by specific Brazilian street letterforms — known as pixo — along with vernacular calligraphy references. The result is a raw and expressive type system that echoes the energy of the music.
